We are passionate about coffee and sharing that love with others. Traditionally, coffee houses have been spaces for people to gather to learn about the social issues of the day, to connect with one another, to take a break from their busy day, or to simply enjoy a cup of coffee or tea.

It's our mission to grow a coffee drinking culture in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and we want you to be part of that journey! 

Africa may be the most exciting coffee-producing continent in the world, boasting incredible variety, history, and high quality. At Marley & Blue, we sell and brew only African coffee, experimenting with the tastes from the different coffee regions of the continent, encouraging our customers to go beyond their initial comfort zones of coffee and try new and exciting blends from the continent.

 

Ethiopia and Kenya are the African countries that have established a coffee legacy that is celebrated all around the world with superior varieties such as Kenya AA or Ethiopian Yirgacheffe. 

We are a community coffee shop located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. Our cafe is a space to share ideas, reconnect with each other, learn, and champion the best in humanity.

Founded by Ese Emerhi, Marley & Blue is a small family-run business. It has always been a dream of hers to own a coffee shop and to bring home that sense of community that coffee shops are known for globally. We take pride in connecting with our customers personally, and our promise and motto are "Bad coffee is over!"

Ese runs the coffee shop with her brother, Ovie Akpofure, who is co-owner and Director of Operations.
